Laurel Latto
DBA Founder, Clinical Research Consultant, and Artist

Ms. Latto has worked in the clinical research industry since 1996. She has focused mainly on oncology research and has visited medical clinics throughout North America. This work gave her an appreciation for creating a healing environment for patients and their caregivers that extends beyond medicine. Ms. Latto is also an artist. Her portfolio is available at LattoArts.com. Ms. Latto's consulting company is DonnaBellas for scientific and art consulting. In 2005, she started painting “cancer angels” and providing them to clinics, patients, and caregivers. Given the popularity of the images, she was inspired to start “DonnaBellas Angels” as a non-profit organization in 2007.

Kristen Boursaw is an account manager with Noesis Consulting Group. Kristen finds this cause important since she has had friends and family that have had cancer.

Jeffery Charles is part owner of Noesis Consulting Group which provides technology consulting services. Jeffery finds this cause important since he lost his grandfather to cancer.

Mary Sandy
Clinical Research Recruiter

Ms. Sandy graduated from the University of Cincinnati majoring in Fashion Design and is passionate about all forms of art.  Ms. Sandy lives in North Carolina with her husband and three children.  She fell in love with her first job in clinical research recruiting.  She has been a recruiter and account manager in the Clinical Research industry for over eight years.  Ms. Sandy specializes in developing relationships with Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, and Biopharmaceutical companies and helping them identify qualified candidates to fill their hiring needs.  Her key clients have included, but are not limited to, Hoffman la Roche, Otsuka, Novo Nordisk, and Sucampo Pharmaceuticals.  She has placed candidates in both permanent and contract positions ranging anywhere from Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and Clinical Research Associates (CRA) to Project Managers (PM) and Clinical Director levels.  She is currently a Senior Account Manager at Phoenix Clinical Staffing.

Ms. Sandy networked with Ms. Latto on LinkedIn and saw a website link for DonnaBellas Angels.  After reviewing DBA website, Ms. Sandy was inspired to be a part of the group.  She was inspired by Ms. Latto because she is not only a clinical research professional helping research new drugs for FDA approval but Ms. Latto gives back with her artwork.  Ms. Sandy enjoys working with Ms. Latto since both are passionate about their professional and volunteer work and they have collaborated to bring the public new exciting ideas to grow DBA.
